MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Exam Test)
MHT-CET (or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a common state level entrance exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra every year for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses such as B.Tech/B.E, Pharma D and B.Pharma offered at colleges in Maharashtra. The examination will be conducted at various centers across the Maharashtra as well as outside Maharashtra State by Online mode (Computer Based Test) tentatively in 2nd week of May 2023 for PCM and PCB group separately. The exam will comprise three papers. Paper 1: Mathematics, Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry and Paper 3: Zoology and Botany. Questions will be of MCQ type and the duration will be 90 minutes for each paper.
MHT-CET Eligible Criteria
All aspirants who have passed/appeared in the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT CET. There is no age limit for appearing in MHT-CET 2023.
MHT-CET 2023 Exam Pattern
- The questions of MHT-CET exam will be based on Syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
- 20% weightage will be given to the questions from Std. XI syllabus and 80% weightage will be given to the questions from Std. XII syllabus while setting the question paper.
